Nurturing Excellence: Why Clients Choose ARG for Clinical Studies

November 27, 2023 In the dynamic world of clinical research, selecting the right partner can make all the difference. For nearly two decades, Atlantic Research Group (ARG) has been a beacon of reliability and innovation, providing clients with an unparalleled experience in the realm of clinical studies. Learn more about what sets our company apart according to Erin Farris, Vice President of Operations at ARG.

A Journey of Commitment and Innovation

With a role that spans overseeing billable departments in clinical and data operations, Erin brings a unique perspective to the table. Her journey with us began in 2003, making her one of the pioneers when the company was in its infancy. According to Erin, the heartbeat of ARG lies in its people. When discussing what makes ARG’s staff special, she said, “We’re a very thoughtful, fun, innovative, hard-working group, and I feel like we have, collectively, a can-do attitude, which I appreciate.” Erin believes the ability to brainstorm, innovate, think outside the box, and take swift action defines the work environment—a key factor in our company’s success. Our team’s devotion to quick turnaround times plus our proactive approach to troubleshooting is another reason that we stand out in the industry. We take pride in being accountable and transparent, ensuring that we are never the bottleneck in the process. Our commitment to providing a superior client experience is evident in our unique approach to team dynamics. Offering the same team from startup to closeout ensures continuity and a deep knowledge base within the team. Cross-training team members adds an extra layer of flexibility, allowing seamless transitions and efficient project management. According to Erin, “Our tenure rate here, on average, is five years… a lot of times, [our clients]... have the same team for 3 to 5 years on their study… rarely do we make transitions.”

The Human Touch: People, Service, and Long-Term Relationships

At ARG, engagement with clients goes beyond day-to-day operations. Quarterly governance calls, led by executives and management, provide a platform for high-level strategy discussions. Covering expectations, timelines, team dynamics, and overall project health, these calls demonstrate our commitment to transparency and collaboration. Erin emphasizes that, ultimately, clients come back to ARG for the people and service. “At the end of the day, it’s people and service, and they know we care.” Our organization's genuine care for the client's product, timelines, and success sets them apart. It's not about being perfect; it's about being accountable, taking ownership, and having pride in our work. In the realm of clinical research, where personal relationships and attention to detail matter, ARG excels. For those seeking a partner that cares as much about their study as they do, ARG is the natural choice—where confidence meets excellence.
