The ARG Way: Agility, Personalization, and Strong Company Values

December 22, 2023 In 2024, Atlantic Research Group (ARG) will celebrate two decades of comprehensive clinical program development services and our continued mission to advance care through operational excellence and innovation. Our Clinical Operations Manager, Amber Schroeder, has been with ARG for 12 years and shared her perspective on finding the right CRO partner and what makes the experience at ARG highly personalized and noteworthy for sponsors.

THE CRO-TO-SPONSOR RELATIONSHIP

While the CRO-to-sponsor relationship is known to be distant and impersonal, ARG is committed to a different approach. We build strong working relationships that feel like an extension of our client’s team. “Our sponsors get to work with a team at ARG that is accessible and available to them,” Amber said. “Every single study is important to us and receives our best effort.” The clinical trial process is long and can be made even more challenging if the CRO company has a revolving door of employees. The solid and unwavering group of support ARG provides is unmatched and essential. Amber was a core member of a team that supported a sponsor from the very first trial with humans through the Biologics License Application approval. “We were able to celebrate the approval and the hard work we put in together as one united team. This client continued to work with us on future studies because they loved the process from beginning to end.” ARG Is proud that Amber’s story isn’t simply a one-off antidote. Our sponsors work with us again because of how thrilled they were with their first, second, and third experiences.

ARG’S DISTINCT AGILITY

Amber confidently spoke about ARG’s agility when working with clients. As a focused and highly skilled company, we prioritize molding our processes and procedures to fit each sponsor’s needs. Our collaborative team works internally on functional problem-solving and knowledge transfer— making research and trials even more streamlined. “A tailored approach is what works best for clients,” Amber said. “Clients never have to jump through hoops with ARG.” It’s these strong, shared company values that allow our excellence in innovation and service to be sustained. First-time clients quickly learn that the process of working together is high-touch, adept, and always aligned with the sponsor’s goals. Agility is also reflected in ARG’s experience in complex trials and specialties. We believe there’s no one-size-fits-all blueprint for clinical research and we’re comfortable with the fact that in clinical research, the unexpected is to be expected. We continue to invest in industry-leading technology so we’re equipped to remain flexible based on sponsor needs.

AN OPEN-DOOR POLICY FOR OUR TEAM & PARTNERS

Amber’s 12-year tenure with us emphasizes a sentiment she shared about her confidence from the beginning that ARG was where she belonged. “Working at a company that values relationships is meaningful and impactful. There’s always a welcome opportunity to support and mentor each other,” she said. This open-door policy starts in our office and extends to our clients. At ARG, you can count on a CRO partner who provides a personalized approach, sharp attention to detail, and genuine care about the outcome of your study. Since 2004, ARG’s mission has grown into real patient impact. We’ve optimized the likelihood of successful drug development programs for sponsors— driven by our passion for providing people with debilitating diseases with life-changing relief.
