Curiosity and Communication Drive ARG’s Partners Towards Success

January 24, 2024

After leaving her role as a small-town pediatrician in Georgia and spending time at home with her children, Dr. Jen Prichard was eager to get back into a professional role. She found ARG and was brought onto our team as a Medical Monitor in 2015.

Since then, Prichard has grown tremendously in her career through unique problem solving, effective communication, and her ability to consistently ask the right questions. Now serving as ARG’s Medical Director, Dr. Prichard embodies the company’s passion for consistently driving towards positive change and success.

ARG’S CONSISTENT CURIOSITY

Dr. Prichard dove into the clinical research space headfirst, taking on any opportunity with an open mind and willingness to learn. Because of ARG’s trust in employees and support of unique thinking, Prichard said she’s always had space and time to be curious, ask questions, and have the chance to level-up.

“I love when I start work on a new project and have the ability to delve in and learn more about whatever population that study involves as far as subjects,” said Prichard.

As our team has secured more work in the ALS space, for example, Prichard has taken the opportunity to learn more about the ALS community, working more with ALS investigators, and seeing how cohesive that group of physicians is globally. Although our team touches a small part of the space, being able to educate and prepare ourselves efficiently makes us the ideal partner for clinical studies.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION LEADS TO RESULTS

Dr. Prichard spoke positively about how ARG’s agile approach to projects allows for clear and open communication amongst various team members working together.

“Being connected to all the other departments and really feeling a freedom about delving in and asking questions is great,” says Prichard. “The availability of people and willingness to work and make processes better has been a great aspect of the role.” It’s this open dialogue, flexibility, and desire to perform to the best of our team’s ability that keeps our client work efficient and our excellence in innovation sustained.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE BOLSTERS PARTNER TRUST

Although no day looks the same as the day before, Dr. Prichard has worked to implement repeatable processes that are adaptable to fit any project. By asking questions and being curious, Prichard is able to dig deeper into specific client needs and provide recommendations for the best path forward, pulling from a wealth of experience and knowledge.

“Just yesterday I was on a client call and provided recommendations based on prior experience - experience that directly impacted enrollment into the study,” said Prichard. “Being able to impart those lessons learned and hopefully help to avoid the same pain points was really appreciated by the sponsor.”

Building trust by showcasing experience and leadership makes ARG the ideal partner. In the oncology space especially, top tier experience is irreplaceable given the strict adherence to deadlines and airtight regulatory compliance. Prichard credits the team’s flexibility, understanding, and knowledge as essential factors in driving partners in oncology studies towards success.

More importantly, and beyond our wealth of experience, our team is made up of people who are passionately curious, who are willing to ask the hard questions, and who are looking for partners to succeed because we care deeply about providing people with life-changing relief.
